In-Ji Chung

Kyopos sind Menschen mit koreanischer Abstammung, die im Ausland aufgewachsen sind. Wer sind diese Kyopos und was macht sie aus? Wie fühlt es sich an, ein Deutsch-Koreaner zu sein? Wie ist ihr Verständnis vom Land und der Kultur und wie wirkt sich das auf ihre Psyche, ihr Verhalten und ihren Alltag aus? Das Projekt „Kyopos in Deutschland ‐ Eine deutsch-koreanische Sicht auf das Land”, geht diesen Fragen auf den Grund und bündelt die Ergebnisse auf einer Prototyp-Webseite.

Kyopos are people with Korean ancestry who grew up abroad. Who are these Kyopos and what makes them tick? How does it feel to be a German-Korean? What is their understanding of the country and culture and how does this affect their psyche, behavior and everyday life? The project "Kyopos in Germany ‐ A German-Korean View of the Country", gets to the bottom of these questions and bundles the results on a prototype website.
