Salt - vital to both humans and animals, but poison at the same time. The historical background of the journey from “white gold” to “cheap spice”, it’s origin, mining and usage are exhaustively documented. Photography, illustrations, abstract collages and 3D graphics depict the topic salt in a new inventive way, while infographics supply the facts. The true fascination unravels when diving deeper into the world of salt crystals and the influence they have had on people, flora and fauna since the beginning of time.
